General Terms and Conditions of 
Prognosta UG (limited liability) 


§1 Scope of Application 

These terms and conditions apply to all contracts for scanning, digitisation, and archiving services. 


§2 Conclusion of Contract 

A contract is concluded through written order confirmation or the signing of an offer. 


§3 Scope of Services 

The specific scope of services is determined by the respective offer and project service sheet. 


§4 Digitisation 

Prognosta is solely responsible for the proper technical digitisation of the documents provided. 
No content review will be carried out.  

for:  

  • missing documents  
  • illegible originals  
  • OCR errors  
  • incorrect customer specifications. 

No liability is accepted


§5 Acceptance 

The service is deemed accepted if no written defects are reported within 8 calendar days after handover. 


§6 Liability 

Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, as far as legally permissible. 


§7 Right of Withdrawal for Consumers 

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. The withdrawal information will be provided separately upon conclusion of the contract. 


§8 Right of Withdrawal for Private Customers 

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. 

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract.

Expiration of the Right of Withdrawal 

The right of withdrawal expires upon complete performance of the service if the consumer has expressly agreed beforehand that the execution will begin before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
